On September 29th, we had the opportunity to host in our offices the 4th Transnational Meeting of the Digital wellbeing @ School.

The aim of the “Digital Wellbeing@School” project is to increase the capacity of educational institutions and educators to integrate digital education in a way that promotes the digital wellbeing of students. Educators will improve their understanding of the risks of social and digital media usage and use the resources to introduce more effective pedagogic strategies for teaching and assessing digital competences congruent with digital wellbeing. Moreover, through building teacher capacity, the project will improve students’ abilities to manage their online time, make the most of digital learning, critically assess the media they consume and create, prevent and detect technology related risks and become responsible, confident digital citizens.

The main outcomes of the project include:

  1. A framework for the digital well-being of educational institutions in Europe
  1. A Digital Wellbeing training course and platform for educators: this is an Open Educational Resource, consisting of 6 modules in subjects such as online research and evaluation, digital content creation, online interaction and collaboration, online time management, digital security, emotions and respect for the body, Digital Wellbeing Educational Activities Repository
  1. A Digital Wellbeing Online Educational Game: the development of this deliverable was assigned to WIDE Services, which you can find here: https://digitalwellbeingatschools.eu/digiland-game/.

The meeting was an excellent opportunity for the team to proceed with the organization and finalization of the remaining activities to complete the project.

We were glad to host this event and would like to thank our partners for the great collaboration so far!

Looking forward to taking on new projects together!
